With a sly smile, Colbert extended his hand and shook Galen's. Feeling he had gotten all the information he needed, the host said, "Thank you for your time Mr. Killer. And good luck with... What was it again?"
"Reconciling my memories with a world that doesn't exist."
"Yes..." Stephen Colbert said with a slow nod, "That. Good luck with that." Turning to the camera, he smiled, "THAT'S OUR SHOW! GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!"
And although Stephen Colbert felt victorious, Galen had only let specific information slip. In reality, the sith apprentice had learned much more, especially concerning how the rules of the Pop Culture district worked. Those who inhabited this district had powers based on the Pop Culture perception of them. Stephen Colbert has the powers of a god on his set, because that's how his fans see him. He also learned that their main attraction was called The Gauntlet; where one challenger stepped up to fight as many of Pop Culture's prize fighters as he can defeat. Tonight's challenger, the Prince of Persia.

The Prince stood behind the curtain, trying to drown out the screaming crowd. He was, after all, a beloved Prince and so crowds were no issue for him. Still, there was something on his mind. Dante, a fellow character from the video game section had spoken of memories of another world. He had told the Prince they were partners in this world. The problem was, the Prince himself had none of these memories. Still, it didn't take long for him to be "reassigned" to the Pop Culture district, and now there was much disturbing news coming from the Video Game section; including their Transit Center going down, causing the reported death of Dante.
Snapping him out of his head, his first opponent for the night, placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey man, relax," Apollo said, "Let's go out there and, win or lose, give the fans a good show. What do you say?"
The Prince nodded, "Yes, let's."
Suddenly, the massive crowd outside fell silent as a familiar voice echoed throughout the arena, "Tonight, we are going to witness the most anticipated Gauntlet in the history of New Khazan. Are you ready? Gauntlet fans, are yooou reeeeaaaaady?" There a was cheer before music began to play.
"It's time!" Creed said in the back.
The Prince nodded as he made his way out first and entered the ring. He looked out at the sea of people while the announcer explained the rules. "Now, the rules of the Gauntlet are simple. Our challenger, Pop Culture's newest sensation The Prince of Persia, will fight as many consecutive fights as possible against our finest competitors. The fights are 1 round with no Time Limit, they go until K.O or an fighter surrenders. The cash Prize is divided by 2 pots; the Challenger Pot which starts at zero dollars and the Gauntlet Pot which starts at Ten Thousand. The Prince's pot will increase by a thousand dollars for each round he wins, while the Gauntlet's Pot Decreases by the same amount. If the Prince loses, each fighter in that match is awarded the total of their Pot and if the Prince goes all the way, he wins the entire TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR PRIZE! Each round, the fighter representing the Gauntlet may chose armed or unarmed combat. This first match will be contested unarmed."
The announcer turned the Prince to confirm that he understood, and the Prince nodded.
"Now! Ladies and gentle men, for the thousands in attendance, for the millions watching around New Khazan, LEEEETS GEEET RRREEAAADY TO RUUUMBLE!"
Creed made his way out and the fighters faced each other, and the bell sounded.
In short. The Prince of Persia is fighting Apollo Creed in unarmed combat. The rules of the fight are simply that they go until one fighter is KOed or surrenders. The fight is taking place is a standard sized boxing ring.
