The battle between the Ghost of Sparta and the Son of Sparda was among the fiercest seen in this world or the last. Though the battle was mostly contained to one location, the effects rippled throughout the city as one side tossed lightening and quakes and the other countered with missiles and laser blasts. And while the city buckled under the strain of their attacks, the two warriors could not land any substantial blows on one and other. Building crumbled around them, until all that was left was the Khazan Transit center.
Dante and Kratos faced off. Their bodies covered in multiple cuts of various severity. Dante's wounds slowly healed. Their magics were spent, too much energy put into the fight. Their weapons were scattered across the battle field, save for Kratos's Blades of Exile, chained to his arms. As both warriors stood, breathing heavily, Dante smiled, "What's the matter? Is that all you got? I'm just getting started." Kratos said nothing. With a loud cry he threw one of his blades at Dante. The red coated hunter dodged to the side and caught the chain. The demon and the god killer struggled to gain advantage in this fatal tug-o-war. As a last ditch effort Dante summoned his final weapon, the Gilgamesh. Dante's gauntlets and grieves flared burning engery, boosting his power, and Dante began pulling Kratos toward him. The war god screamed as his Rage of Sparda took over. Kratos and Dante continued to struggle until Dante tore the chain from Kratos's arm, leaving deep, burning cuts in the god's arm.
Dante tossed the blade away and charged at Kratos, and Kratos met him head on. Dante threw his body into Kratos's, grabbing him around the waist and trying to push him back. Kratos, using his remaining blade, stabbed Dante in the stomach repeated. With his healing powers already slowed, and each blow slowing them further, Dante knew it was just a matter of time. Still, he continued to push forward, forcing Kratos through doors of the transit center. But as Dante weakened, Kratos managed to stop Dante's momentum completely. Stab after stab and Dante knew he was mere moments away from death. But the demon hunter refused to go down. He summoned the last of his strength and activated his Devil Trigger. His skin turned black and metallic, four wings sprouted from his back. But even in this state, Dante had already taken too much damage and the boost to his healing factor just wasn't enough. This was his last chance. Dante forced Kratos and himself back onto the shuttle between districts. As the door shut, it carried them both away. Kratos continued to stab Dante as their invincible power boosts ran out.
"Let's rock," Dante said, spending all his remaining energy to summon his Lucifer weapon and filling the car with explosive swords. After 15 seconds, the swords exploded taking Dante and the shuttle with them. Kratos, however, used his golden fleece to block the explosion. The Ghost of Sparda survived, but was left wounded and trapped between the realms of Khazan.

That battle was intense. So much so that Galen had time to take Lady to the Health Bar to heal her wounds, and the too were able to make it back in time to see the end. They watched as Dante forced Kratos out of the district, and they saw the explosion. In fact, everyone saw the explosion. It happened outside of space and time and was visible on the horizon of every point in Khazan.
Lady sighed, "Their goes our ride," she said.
Galen shot her a deathly glare. "Our ride? Our ride and our friend. And you make jokes?"
"I made an observation," Lady said.
"I'm glad you can be so flippant about this."
"What can I say? I learned from him."
Galen shook his head, "And in the meantime, our best chance at bringing this unknown enemy down is lost."
"Maybe if you'd helped him he wouldn't have had to sacrifice himself."
"You think this is my fault?" Starkiller asked.
Lady shrugged, "It was your lightening attack that hit me."
"How dare you?"
"Actually, this is all your fault! If it wasn't for your rampage we could have done this in secret like Dante wanted. It's why he insisted on waiting for you. We would have been better off if we just went ahead without you!" Lady said, putting a hand on her gun.
"What are you saying?" Galen asked, "Don't do anything foolish."
Lady smiled, "Foolish? Like going crazy and ripping apart the town? Getting myself locked up for a year? Leaving an ally to fight alone and to die? No, I'm about to do the first rational thing here, and take you out."
Starkiller ignited his lightsaber, "I will kill you if I have to."
"Then to the death it is," Lady said, "But not here. I challenge you to a battle in the arena. To the death."
Starkiller nodded, "I accept. To the death."
It's unclear which creator answered their challenge, weather it was the corrupt creator or another, but their challenge was heard and they were transported to the Khazan Battle Arena. To two faced off, a silent understanding that one of them wouldn't make it out of here alive.
Lady: Twin hand guns, twin sub-machine guns, rocket launcher with a launching and retractable bayonet blade, and various explosives
Starkiller: Force powers, Lightsaber
Both at full power.
Fight to the death.
