Previously: An attempt on the life of Former President David Palmer sent detectives Del Spooner and Matt Parkman on
a investigation into The Hand ninja clan. They went to Asia and encountered The Lieutenant.
“Run, run!” Del Spooner screamed.
Matt Parkman lagged behind the detective but only a little bit.
Parkman had mentally slammed The Lieutenant and then the two detectives took off.
The ninjas that had been surrounding them didn’t pursue right away but when they did. Parkman and Spooner survived
several close calls.
Matt Parkman had his telepathy on full scan. No surpise, the loudest voice was his partner.
Even running for their lives he couldn’t stop himself from auguring with him.
“We are going to make it!” He bellowed in response to Spooner’s dominant thought.
Another thought immediately bludgeoned him. He responded.
“I’m not going down first!”
“Stop reading my mind!” Spooner screamed.
Now a more foreign thought offended him. An intention to kill.
Parkman turned around, aimed in the direction that the thought seemed to be coming from and fired.
He sensed someone in pain and then heeded Spooner’s urging to keep running.
The bad part about this was that they hadn’t gotten any information about the attempt on David Palmer’s life. It was
obvious that The Hand wanted them eliminated but if the two of them escaped, they wouldn’t have anything to report.
A little back up would have been nice.
Their flite took them into even more narrow alleys. Anyone who lived around here stayed out of sight. As far as
Parkman’s scans could tell, no one even wanted to watch.
For all the chasing that the ninjas were doing, Spooner noted that they weren’t doing much attacking. It felt like they
were heading their doom.
As they rounded a corner, that feeling manifested fully in the form of a dead end.
“Oh no!” Parkman heaved.
“You didn’t see this coming?” Spooner chided.
“I read minds not streets!”
They ran all the way up to the wall, both men touching it as if testing to see if it were an illusion. There was no choice
now but to turn around and face their enemies.
None of the ninjas showed themselves, but the cops knew that they were there.
“I think they’re gonna try to take us the sneaky way.”Spooner warned.
“Oh you think?” Parkman smarted off. “They are ninjas. Then he made his telepathy concentration face.
“They’re about to make their move. I can give out a warning, but I can’t be precise about the direction they’ll be
coming from.”
“That’s all you got?” Spooner complained.
“Hey, it’s better than nothing!”
So the two policeman stood side by side, their backs against the wall. The shadows themselves seemed to be moving.
And springing from them came death.
Fight Parameters:
Parkman and Spooner are backed against a wall. 10 Hand ninja will attempt to get them from different angles. 1 is a
little injured from Parkman’s lucky shot. They will mainly come one at a time like some video game won’t stick to that
strategy.
Vote for Parkman and Spooner if you think they can defeat all ten ninja.
Vote for The Hand if you think they’ll kill the two cops.
