Galen Merek, aka Starkiller, has been many things in his life; or is that lives? In recent months the former Sith apprentice has had memories flood into his mind. Memories that he needs reconciled, and to do that Starkiller needs allies. Starting in the Video Game district, his home district in New-Khazan, Starkiller's search was quickly derailed. Luckily for him, a rampaging Hulk and police department make good distractions for one and other. But a scuffle with Master Chief, directly after a fight with Hulk no less, left Galen half past dead. Disorientated, the bleeding Starkiller limped into the nearest Health Bar and almost collapsed in the doorway. Luckily for him, two of the bar's patrons were close enough to catch him and help him to the bar. As they walked, Starkiller turned to the blue hedgehog and the orange bandicoot, too weak too consider the stranegness of the situation. Galen simply said, "Thank you."
Suddenly, he got a sense of de ja vu. He recalled another bar; one where Batman sat consoling Spider-Man in the corner, where Dante sat day after day hitting on the Southern Mutant Bartender. He was snapped from his memories when he heard, "HI!" The round, cheerful, pink bartender bounced toward him. Kirby handed Starkiller a drink, and the sith warrior drank it down in one try. In an instant Starkiller was brought back to full health. "The wonders of Khazan, you never appreciate them until you need them." he said, before paying Kirby and turning to leave. He scanned the bar, taking in the crowd and sighing, "Maybe my memories aren't so crazy." He said, as Crash and Sonic went back to arguing, while going out of their way to ignore Mario.
Starkiller walked through the city, carefully. He knew Hulk was probably still keeping everyone's attention, but he still didn't want to draw attention to himself. Luckily, one of his allies from his memories was an acquaintance in this world. He knew where to go and managed to get close quickly and unnoticed. Perhaps he underestimated how distracting Hulk was. But as he closed in, staying hidden became much harder. The sky grew darker, and winged creatures circled the area. Starkiller tried to sneak passed them by ducking in an alleyway. A scythe wielding demon formed from the wall and swung at Starkiller from behind. The sith turned and activated his lightsaber to block the strike. Starkiller force pushed the demon off balance then sliced through it with a single strike.
More demons flooded the alley. Starkiller used a Force push to send them back, then made a quick retreat; he didn't have time to fight so many enemies, nor was a narrow alley a good location to defend himself. It wasn't long before Galen was surrounded by demons and forced to fight. Luckily, these demons weren't very powerful and cutting them down served as little more than a warm up. Once he cleared a path, Starkiller looked to see a white haired man, carrying a sword, headed toward him. "Dante," Galen greeted.
The man paused, regarding him curiously, before saying, "You should be so lucky," Dante's twin brother, Vergil, swung his blade to take Starkiller's head. But the powers of the force enhanced Starkiller's body and gave him the precog needed to block the attack. Starkiller grabbed Vergil by the throat with the force, but Vergil summoned a phantom sword that shot toward the sith warrior. Starkiller pushed Vergil away while dodging to the side.
The two faced one and other and the battle begun.
Starkiller: Lightsaber and all force powers. Neutral state of mind, but aware he must end this quickly and try to find Dante. No previous damage. Willing to kill.
Vergil: DMC4 Special addition version: Yamato, Force Edge, and Beowulf weapons as well as summoned swords abilities. Very willing to kill, as he sees Starkiller as threat to his plans.
Other demons will not interfere in this battle.
