“You’ve got a unique look, buddy.” The man was large. As big as He-Man, but not as muscular.
Skeletor glared at him. He knew that his empty eye sockets had freaked out this costumed buffoon. He couldn’t wait to see
how much his speaking without lips would rattle him.
The greeter offered his hand. “I’m Mr. Incredible.”
Ignoring the handshake invitation, Skeletor twisted his torso so that his full skeleton head was facing him.
“Mr. Incredible.” He repeated the name as if it were a new language. “How conceited.”
Mr. Incredible let the insult slide. The blue-skinned, bone-headed man did have a point.
“So what’s your name? Let me guess. Skel-e-tor?”
The eye sockets flared with amusement.
“Got it on the first try.”
“Really?” Mr. Incredible marveled at his accomplishment. He then grew more serious. “Any idea what’s going on here?”
“None.” Skeletor said.
As more and people gathered at the building conflict, Mr. Incredible made a comment.
“Wonder what’s going on over there?”
“Nothing that concerns us.” Skeletor said, not even looking at the group. “I’m more interested in that.”
He pointed at an object levitated several feet above the floor. About the size of a shoebox, it was cube shaped and glowed.
Only when one focused on it did the item seem to stand out. That was probably why the others hadn’t noticed it yet. This was
an advantage for Skeletor. Limited as it was, he knew something that no one else did. Save Mr. Incredible.
The super hero stepped closer to the cube. “Could be nothing, Could be something.” He mused.
Skeletor reached out and just before his hand could grasp it, the cube flashed and disappeared. An artificial monotone voice
spoke to them.
“Mission objective. Retrieve the Cosmic Cube.”
Replacing the image of the cube was a map.
“Now we’ve got something.” Mr. Incredible smiled.
“Yes.” Said Skeletor thoughtfully.
“We should tell the others.” Mr. Incredible advised.
“You should go.” Skeletor suggested. “I’ll study this ‘mission objective’ a minute longer. By the time you rally them, I may
have more information.”
“That’s a good idea.” Said Mr. Incredible. He moved off to notify everyone else.

“The warning is right there.” Dr. Doom pointed at a nearby computer console. He had clutched Shockwave and Ravage’s
curiosity when he had told them that an attack was coming.
Ravage went to see and sure enough an alert was being issued.
“But why is it silent?” wondered the panther bot.
“Perhaps to see if we were paying attention.” Doom gazed at the arguing group. “We have an advantage. Knowledge that the
others don’t.”
“Situation summary.” Shockwave self-reported. “Unknown enemy advancing. Attack is imminent. Only we three are aware. A
warning is needed.”
“Or, we can let these Neanderthals deal with the threat while we uncover more secrets to our gathering.” Doom hinted.
“Incompetent they may be, but I have faith that they can over come this challenge when it springs on them.”
Ravage looked at Shockwave. “It would be a wiser use of personnel.”
A moment’s hesitation. Then Shockwave’s single eye brightened. “Agreed.”

Imhotep was intrigued. Three men in black clothing and armor who had left the larger assembly had come across a woman
who explained a bit of their situation. They all found it insulting that this was some kind of game. The one named Darth Vader
wanted more information than what she had given them and set out to force her to tell him more.
This inspired a rage in the alien- Worf. Black Manta cut in and the two of them fought.
Vader went on with his business.
Or at least he tried to. The blitzkrieg of Jem ‘Hadar soldiers caused Worf and Black Manta to team one to keep from being
overwhelmed. Worf even provided information on the aliens as he had fought them plenty during the Federation’s war with
The Dominon.
At his own location, Imhotep turned himself into sand to keep the attackers from distracting him. His two colleagues, Han-
the Dragon Emperor and Morrigan easily fought off the Jem ‘Hadar. The other warriors disposed of the larger force while Han
and Morrigan snuck away. They regrouped with Imhotep to find out what he learned.
Han was outraged to hear that they were pawns in a game.
“We do not have to submit to this.” Imhotep presented. “There are powers behind this. Working together, we can take it for
ourselves.”
Han smiled slyly.
“The caped one, Darth Vader, has discovered something. He has embarked on a mission that will lead to the power that
brought us here.”
Morrigan made sure to brush up against The Dragon Emperor as she stepped beside him. “Well we’re not gonna let him beat
us to it are we?”

The Jem ‘Hadar soldiers scurried into the room. The first few went on one knee and opened fire right at their point of
entrance. This ensured that the second wave could come in and spread out. The suppressive fire doubled and came from
more angles. Then a third wave filed in.
Everyone successfully took cover and began getting a handle on the situation.
“It seems you have someone to fight!” Black Panther said to Akuma.
Gritting his teeth, the Shotokan fighter looked eager to come out and kill someone. But there were no individuals close
enough to him to get his hands on.
Beyond them, The Pink Time Force Ranger- Jen pulled out her blaster and started to return fire. She wasn’t the only one. Linn
Kurosawa cut loose with her pulse rifle and then Holocaust shot out a burst of flame that scored the first casualty.
Koragg the Knight Wolf had refused to hide. His shield withstood the Jem ‘Hadar’s rifles so he stalked a group and began
tearing into them.
She-Ra decided that her shield should also hold up against these energy rifles and went after a different group.
Koragg’s group only consisted of three Jem ‘Hadar while She-Ra’s targets numbered six. Kimberly- the Pink Morphin’ Ranger-
worked as back up. The two women had little trouble dealing with them.
Things began to settle down and the others who had been kept out of the action started to come out of hiding. They
discovered that the attack was far from over as new groups of Jem ‘Hadar broke in.
A collection of five had found an entryway behind where Apache Chief was standing and they pounced on him.
At regular size, the alien warriors were stronger than him and being outnumbered so badly meant certain doom.
Fortunately, he was close enough to Black Panther and Akuma that the two of them drew some of their attention.
Akuma finished his targets first then went on to take out Apache Chief’s and what was left of the Black Panther’s foes.
There was no time to boast as still more Jem ‘Hadar came in. Everyone was engaged.
The outcome however, was crystal clear. The Jem ‘Hadar’s defeat came in time.
When the fighting was over and the champions checked on each other, they resumed trying to figure out what was going on.
Mr. Incredible began to them his information.
“I was with this guy with a skull for a head. His name was Skeletor. We found something, a mission objective of some kind. I
was going to tell the rest of you about right before this attack happened. I don’t know where he is now though.”
She-Ra glared at him. “You were with Skeletor and you let him go?”
Mr. Incredible put on an embarrassed face. “You mean he’s bad?”
“Yes he’s bad!” The warrior woman bellowed.
“Sorry. I didn’t know.”
She-Ra turned away and took a deep breath to try and calm down.
Toshiro spoke up, making a hypothesis. “If he’s of evil alignment, then he’s probably gone on this mission by himself to
collect whatever reward there is to have.”
“We can’t let him succeed.” She-Ra declared in a calm but stern voice. “We have to go after him.”
“I’m the first in line for that.” Mr. Incredible pointed his thumb at himself. His embarrassment was gone, replaced with angry
determination.
“You can show us where he went.” Said She-Ra.
“Wait!” Toshiro called out. “We can’t all go. That would be excessive.”
“He’s right.” Black Panther stood with him. “Doom is missing as well. Whatever your concern is with this Skeletor, Dr. Doom
deserves equal worry.”
“Well I’m going after Skeletor!” Mr. Incredible folded his arms.
“I know Skeletor.” She-Ra proclaimed. “I have to go after him.”
Toshiro turned to Black Panther. “You seem to know Dr. Doom well enough. I may be more help with Skeletor.”
“It is settled then.” Panther agreed.

Relieved to be rid of Mr. Incredible, Skeletor ventured off to fulfill the mission.
From what he understood, an item of great power was hidden near their base.
Skeletor found his way out of the base, discovering that they were on a fully habitable world. It wasn’t Eternia for sure, but
the environment was familiar enough to be comfortable.
The rain was steady and Skeletor was surprised that they couldn’t hear it inside the base. Glad for his hood, he covered his
bone head, wrapped himself in his robes and pushed on.
His resilience was met with success.
The cube looked just as the image did.
As he picked it up, he caught the motion of someone else approaching.
A purple-skinned man slipped out of the trees. His cranium was a little bit over-sized. He had a thin mustache and his
determined glare fixed on Skeletor.
“Well,” he said. “He did say that there would be others.”
