So deo, are stragglers getting until the end of the 30th, or the end of the 31st to get a character in?

I've written five drafts for this tourney. I've tried out five different characters and each of them dead ended right after the personality section. I'm gonna keep trying, but, this is harder than I remember it being. Looks like I've lost the touch; the power.

Come on Pseudo, you got the touch...the power. The whole mob boss thing threw me for a loop too, but I think you can at least scrape by. I'll just bump up Rose later today if she's fine and we'll see who wore it better.

Come on Psuedo, www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ2HcRl4wSk the only reason why mine came out early is because I had already had it stored away in my fpl chest. All I did was edit it for INC.

electricferret.freeforums.net/thread/3377/Because copy/pasting wasn't lazy enough I thought to see if MOD powers worked. Looked like it did, Wilted Rose is now in database! So that probably counts. Now come on pseudo!

I'm sorry, guys. I tried really hard and nothing took. I wrote maybe 5000 words around this prompt - non-consecutively. I hope I can snag the next one. In the meantime, I'm trying other off-prompt things.

It's alright pseudo, writer's block can deter the greatest of novelists, just brace your teeth and push on.

Results!
Everyone did a good job this time around, and hopefully we'll keep this going. You're all winners to me, but only one of you goes home with the coveted Deo point, even though I don't know what it does. Therefore, in no particular order are the runner-ups.
Black Fang: I felt like this one had serious potential. I liked character image, and a dog lord mob boss was a cool idea. However a lot of the character sheet was too expositional. I would have liked more story and personality too back up the creativity of the idea.
Hector ‘Don Legion’ Retap: A strong second place. There was a clear concept, and you went somewhere other then average goons as a commander which was what I was looking for. Pretty solid if a bit rushed towards the end. I liked it, I just happened to like another one more.
‘Wilted Rose’ and the New Song Syndicate: You had a decent story, but the character herself didn’t really jump out at me. I can’t describe her personality really well. There was also a lot of exposition, and I think the choice to try and get out so much background slowed the pace and ate up a lot of your word count.
and the winner is...
John Krugman: I almost didn’t want to give it to you again, but Krugman was my favorite. While his powers are similar to The Broker, it was still really well put together, and out of all of them I think you struggled with the word count least.
Congratulations! Your mission should you choose to accept it, is to run the February character contest.
