While we wait for Deo to make another contest I had an idea for one of my own. Depending how it goes it might turn into a rp.
This is the premise. You are creating a character that is seeking admission into The Hounds Of Justice by winning a competition called The Hunt. The Hunt is a highly illegal event that takes place on Reach Island that rewards the person/person who kills/incapacitates the most villains. Each level of villain is worth either 1 (petty criminal) 2 (Murderer Gangmember, etc) 3(Assassin, Gang Leader, Pimp, etc) 5 (Crime Lords, King Pins, etc) 7(Argus Elite). Competitors don't have to be residents of Reach Island. Largest teams allowed are three.
Each section of the write-up would be minimum 200 max 300.

How demented are the hounds really supposed to be? This sounds less like a superhero team and more like a bpack of raging psychopaths.

Some are more violent than others. The contest can be seen as a sort of appeasement. It happens once every few years to keep the extremist happy. As a whole though, I'd say they're slightly more extreme than the Angels Of Mercy were.

As for the next contest, I'll be running one once a month, so January starts two days from now. We could have two, just saying its not going to be that big of a wait. |

I'm conflicted with the idea of an RP. On one hand, it would encourage us to make some new characters. On the other hand, there really aren't a good number of characters to choose from, and we may just end up with a bunch of sloppily thrown together jerks.

True. Which is why I wanted to do a contest first that would turn into a RP. But I think I've come up with a solution. I'm going to do some fics based on The Hunt at a certain point I'll set up a contest that will lead into a rp/fic. So basically an INC event.
Of course that is subject to change if you guys have better idea.

One set up by you and another set up by one of us. That way we'd have a wide range of characters (God help us when Bergy makes his contest lol). |

Honestly, don't think I have it in me to write for two separate contests a month. My level of procrastination simply won't allow it.

We should kinda not do any contests right now and just concentrate on bringing characters into the actual database. We have a dozen just sitting in the analysis section, just edit those and throw them into the database.
