Frieza vs. Silver Surfer
The pivotal moment in time...
The utter destruction of Planet Vegeta, Homeworld of the Saiyan Race.
"FRIEZA! NOOOO!", screamed Bardock as Frieza's fatal blast raced the distance between him and the evil tyrant. "It can't end this way...", Bardock thought as despair, along with Frieza's attack, had engulfed him. Not only was he dying, his entire planet would die with him. He tried to save them, tried to warn them...all in vein. The last thing he would hear was the sound of Frieza's laughter, then it all went black.
But Bardock had not died...not this time. Someone...someone from afar had taken notice of Bardock's valiant efforts and saved him just in time. When Bardock had awoken, he was still in space. Only now, time had passed. Frieza was gone...and so was his planet. But before he could mourn or question how this had happened to him, his eyes met with his savior, a gleaming silver man standing atop a board.
"Bardock of Planet Vegeta, I have saved your life. I regret...that I could not do the same for your home. It was not it's time.", the Surfer said with a sorrowful face.
"Who...who?", stuttered the wounded Bardock just before slipping back into unconsciousness. The silver man sighed, the turned his focus to which the direction Frieza's ship had gone. "I will not let this continue..." The Silver Surfer sped like a bullet, quickly passing Frieza's seemingly snail-moving ship and with one move stopped all of it's technological functions. Now frozen in the middle of space, it took no time at all for Frieza to learn who had done this. "Those who create destruction should not fear their own. Face me.", challenged the Surfer.
Frieza wasted no time...leaving his stalled ship in such a fowl mood that he could kill the Saiyans again, but with his bare hands. "Listen, I don't care who you or how good a mood I'm in, fix my ship or die."
The Silver Surfer just nodded and shrugged, "You plan to kill me even if I did."
"Oh, how smart this one is...I don't have time for this.", Frieza replied as he fired off a death beam toward the Surfer.
Now the fight was on!
