Tip toeing through the dark hallway the kids nervously looked around. The anticipation of fright filled there minds. They knew something lurked in the darkness but not what it was. Turning the corner, a monstrous wolf jumped out at them and growled. The kids screamed. Laughing, Zack lifted his mask so the kids could see him. With that being the last group of kids, Zack escorted them back to the main lobby to their parents. Kimberly and Trini were there with the parents as Zack and the kids arrived. The three of them stood on the front steps waving as the kids and their parents drove out of the gate. It had been a long night but had been fun for the Rangers.
They had a good turnout for their community fundraiser haunted house. The Rangers spent the next hour cleaning up the house. After they felt the mansion had been restored properly, they all met back up in the lobby. Tommy said, "I can't believe how well this went tonight." Zack jokingly, "Yeah, no uglies from Rita." "and no Bulk and Skull!" Kimberly chimed in. "Well guys, that’s a rap. Lets go home and get some rest before class tomorrow." Jason said relieved. At that the Rangers picked up their belongings and stepped outside in the cool fall air. An eerie glow seemed to encompass the mansion grounds. The moon filled the sky with an orange tint to it. the wind began to pick up and the leaves whipped across the drive. As they neared the iron gate the bell began to toll for midnight. Upon the final toll the iron gate before the Rangers slammed shut. The house began to change before their eyes. It seemed to grow darker and more ominous. Gravestones began to emerge from the ground. The forest behind the house grew thicker and darker as well.
A howl filled the air. The Rangers anxiously looked around for its source. Then looking into the dense forest, Tommy saw a pair of glowing red eyes staring back. Tommy yells, "It's time to go. Lets teleport to the command center." The Rangers reached for their communicator. They rapidly hit the watch to no avail. All they received from it was static. A monstrous roar echoed from the woods. They could see a huge figure begin to emerge from the woods in the shadows. Tommy encourages, "Back to the mansion! Everyone back inside!" The Rangers began to run for the mansion. the figure leaves the shadows and the Rangers can see it is some sort of giant wolf. As they run, they can feel the creature closing in. Terror begins to set in on the group as the monster gains ground on them. The Rangers fly up the steps and slam through the door of the mansion. As they get inside the girls fall to the floor. The wolf crashes into the door. Tommy, Jason, Zack, and Billy rushed the door trying to keep it closed. The wolf's arm was through the doorway, a clawed hand scratching at anything it could. The four guys continued to push and suddenly the creature stopped and disappeared. The guys fell to the floor backs against the door. Jason proclaimed, "Guys, I think its time to morph!" The Rangers pulled out their morphers and when they tried to activate them sparks erupted, filling the run. They could not morph and they could not leave. Dread began to set in to the six teenagers.
Looking to one another for answers, they all stayed quiet. Billy exclaimed, "Guys! There was a phone in the costume room!" The Rangers ran to the room. Looking around they saw the only phone broken in pieces on the floor. Frightened Kimberly said, "If this is the costume room, where are all the costumes?" Standing facing the phone, the Rangers heard the door behind them creak and begin opening up. Turning around and man with some sort of mask stood filling up the door way. in his hands was a chainsaw, dripping with blood. With a quick jerk he cranked the chainsaw, raising it above his head. The Rangers bolted for the exits all saying, "This way!" at the same time.
Tommy and Kimberly made their way down a dark corridor. Coming to some steps, they proceeded down into what seemed like some kind of chamber. Suddenly the candles on the wall ignited. The stairway was now illuminated with an eerie glow. Shadows danced on the walls as the flames flickered. The two of them crept quietly down the steps into a vast dungeon like room. Kimberly stuttered, "I, I don’t remember this room from before." Tommy said, "That’s because it wasn't here before." Coming around the corner, a coffin sat in the center of the room. Without warning the lid began to rise. Long pail fingers gripped the edge of the lid and began sliding it to the side.
Jason and Zack took off into the parlor. They slammed and locked the door behind them. They stood side by side facing the door. Zack franticly said, "What the heck was that?" "I don’t know but we need to find the others and get out of here!" Behind them the two could hear the floor boards begin to groan with the wait of something heavy moving across them. Both Rangers spun around and a massive figure wearing a hockey mask was coming towards them. Jason grabbed a chair and smashed it across the monsters face. He barely flinched from the hit. Sprinting back out the door they slammed the door behind them. A blade pierced the door, skimming Jason's arm. blood began to run down his arm from the wound. Zack asked, "What do we do?" In pain Jason said, "Whatever we do, we have to find the others first."
Billy and Trini had followed Jason and Zack out the door but had gotten lost in the maze of hallways. The two of them found themselves in some sort of demented child's room. Clowns with evil grins littered the room. The sound of lumbering footsteps could be heard coming down the hall. Grabbing Trini by the arm, Billy pulled her into the closet. The two of them watched through the slits in the door as the monster came into the room. Trini had to cover her own mouth to keep from screaming. Leather Face cranked the chainsaw and looked around the room. Raising it above his head, he brought it down hard on the bed and cut it in two. With a quizzical look, Leather Face examined the bed now in two pieces. He then looked around the room, stepping closer to the closet. Bringing his face closer to the door he began to try to look through the slits into the interior of the closet. Reaching for the handle a bang grabs his attention. He then lumbers off to investigate the sound. Billy says with realization, "This is bad. I recognized the two monsters we've seen. Our costumes were gone from the room because these monsters are our costumes!"
The Rangers must survive the night. (only have to survive) If one Ranger dies then they all lose.
