Rize Of The Rings! Part 2

Percy Jackson had never had a worse summer. Right from the start things looked bleak at Camp Half-Blood. First rumors that the Gods were being defeated one-by-one by a Spartan(of all things!) and then followed the waves of monsters attacking the unsuspecting Demi-gods. It took the combined effort of all the campers just to protect the camp's barrier from deadly creatures. Not many had died yet in these battles, but it kept them quite busy, too busy to focus their attention on the pressing matter of what was befalling Olympus.

The summer days went on...no end to their battles in sight. As days went by the condition of the planet seemed to worsen. The sky had this permanent gloom and the lightening never stopped. It definitely didn't improve everybody's mood. All of this especially worried Percy, as he had been the one on the front lines most often(being the only one whom took a dip in the River Styx wasn't always a good thing). He had hoped this summer would be the best. They had bested the Titans, fought for Demi-god rights and even finally won Annabeth's heart. He hoped he could finally enjoy all of that and celebrate, I mean he hadn't seen much of her since last summer. Great time for the world fall apart, huh?

After another hellish battle with several Chimera, the worse thing(and possibly the strangest thing)happened at camp. The sick looking sky finally tore open, revealing something even stranger...Spaceships.

Spaceships on the other side of this...tear in the middle of the sky. The entire camp froze, awe-struck at the sight that they never thought to see. Percy was the first to break the silent, "What the..."

"EXTERMINATE!" ...The first and only word to come from the tear just before the ships flooded into camp. Percy and the others scrambled. The ships just started firing, razing the camp like never before.

"ARCHERS!!! FIRE!", Percy commanded, rushing off in panic. Before Percy could do more than even figure out what was trying to kill them, a nearby explosion knocked him off his feet. As he looked up, he could see many campers, many that he had grown close too, die by the hands of...well, aliens.

"Percy Jackson!", said a mysterious voice

Percy got up on all fours and scanned the chaos, not finding the origin of the voice. "Hello?"

"Percy Jackson, you have been chosen!", said the voice again, this time a large green light beamed down over Percy's limp body. Just as sudden as he fell, his body rose. His body was now fully healed and...floating. "What...are you?"

"Do not fear, Jackson. For you have been chosen to wield the power of Lantern's light. You are being bestowed a great power with which you can save your friends and defeat your foes!", replied the floating green ring now wrapping itself around Percy's finger.

"Now, Jackson. Unite with your companions and win your bout."

The green light dimmed. The transformation was now complete and Percy was in awe by his new(and odd looking)green suit. Percy could feel powers he never thought existed. And all fueled, seemingly, by his pure willpower. Percy looked up, remembering that a battle was going on. Though, the ships didn't forget, as all eyes(and blasters)were on him.

Seems as summer was finally looking up.


Percy Jackson: As he was at the end of The Last Olympian. Has sword and full disposal of camp and campers. Fully charged Green Lantern Ring.

Annabeth: As she was at the end of The Last Olympian. Has full disposal of camp and campers. Fully charged Violet Lantern Ring.

Clarisse: Same as the others. Fully charged Red Lantern Ring.
