The year is 1972. Saxton Hale is no longer the president of Mann Co after being beaten in a fist fight by Gray Mann's daughter, Olivia, who has now taken his place. Hale is now seen as a disgrace by everyone who once knew him, even his old girlfriend Mags. Even senselessly bludgeoning the faces of wild panthers in is no longer emotionally satisfying for him. Since then, Hale has been moping around the jungles of the world looking for rarer and deadlier animals and creatures to clobber.
One day, Hale got his wish and found the deadliest, and strangest, creature he had ever seen. After falling into a small pit in the Amazon rainforest, Hale discovered a magic portal to Outworld. After wandering in, Hale found himself in a dark, grimey dungeon with skulls and human skeletons littered everywhere, and an empty throne in the corner.
Suddenly, the four-armed Mortal Kombat champion himself, Goro, jumped down from the ceiling behind Hale.
Goro: Who are you and what are you doing in my throne room?
Hale: You call this a throne room, you four-armed freak? Ha ha! Come on! I'll take you on.
Goro: You will regret saying those words, human.
Hale: Mate, I've fought hamsters more that look more threatening than you! This'll be easy!
And so the battle of ages begins! Who will win between Saxton Hale and Goro?
