Nightmare Geese Howard vs. Jago; who would win in a fight on the Battlefield stage from Smash Bros.?
Nightmare Geese's powers:
- Martial artistry. Geese was extremely proficient in unarmed aikido and was considered one of the most fearsome warriors in his home dimension.
- Supernatural energy powers. Geese was capable of utilising his chi to produce purple, grounded energy projectiles called Reppukens. He could allow amp up this ability to fire a "Final Reppuken" that crackled with electricity. His other famous supernatural attack was the Raging Storm, which was a massive cyclone of energy he could unleash by punching the ground.
- Intelligence/charisma. Geese's intelligence, strategic planning and charisma allowed him to essentially become the autocratic ruler of South Town. Geese was also very knowledgeable of other cultures, particularly that of Japan.
- Ethereal. After his death, Geese became some sort of semi-corporeal wraith, but the nature of his being as an undead were somewhat unclear, with it sometimes being indicated that he only appeared to his opponents in their minds.
- Superhuman durability. Geese somehow managed to survive the first attempt on his life from Terry which was a fall from Geese's own several story-high skyscraper.
Geese's weaknesses:
- Arrogance. Geese frequently insisted on fighting teams of opponents on his own because he was that confident in his own abilities.
- Villain stupidity. Some of Geese's actions only served to show the audience that he was evil, such as his completely unprovoked killing of Terry Bogard's father, Jeff, which of course sparked Terry's quest for vengeance against Geese that drove the plot of the Fatal Fury game series.
Jago's powers:
- Martial artistry and swordsmanship. Jago had been training as a shaolin warrior for practically his entire life, and as a result he is a master martial artist and swordsman.
- Supernatural energy powers. Jago was capable of shooting fireballs from his hands, ranging from small ones to house-sized ones.
- Superhuman durability. Like most characters from the Killer Instinct series, Jago was far more durable than a normal person, though a notable individual feat was the time he survived a knife through the chest from General RAAM.
Jago's weaknesses:
- Weak to demonic possession. After Jago discovered that the Tiger Spirit was actually the demon god named Gargos, Jago had a huge crisis of faith that made him susceptible to possession from Gargos's acolytes.
