Finally a beautiful cool and sunny Sunday in South Florida with no fucking rain. Thank god. Move over, bruh!  Rain's way better than snow. I have an uncle down there who enjoys telling us how much better his weather is. >.> LOL yeah rain is not better when you get hit with Hurricanes and Tornados which luckily we have not had any in a damn good while. Its been raining like shit for months off and on. Ruins the day down here. I will take the cold any day. LOL we have plenty of AC units down here in Florida for heat and cold weather.  |

In dedication to Star Wars month (and my Critical Theory course), I'm writing a 12pg paper on Post-Colonialism in the Star Wars Expanded Universe... And, at first, I was really nervous about this topic... But, doing the research, it's mostly me talking about the countless species that have been enslaved/wiped out by every colonizing power in the history of Star Wars...
Like, I'm starting as far back as the invasion on the Sith Purebloods by the Human Exiles in 6900BBY and continuing as far as Darth Krayt's attempted genocide of the Mon Calamari in 137ABY....
There is no lack of information on this topic.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that both CinemaSins and GamingSins are both crappy content creators. I mean, I understamd that the entire point of their videos is to exagerate flaws of films and games by nitpicking, and yeah, some of their nitpicks are quite thought out, but others... Aren't. There are many times when 'sins' are thrown in that can easily be explained and wouldn't be included if the creators just did some research. Other times, no research needs to be done at all. If a character, for example, has his arm in the air in one scene, then has it by his side in another shot, surely it's just logical to assume that the character put it down between shots?

Not necessarily. If the shot gives no indication of any time passing (like uninterrupted dialogue cuts), then it's an actual continuity error.

Well, good news(or bad news, depending on how you feel about me )! Won't be losing internet again. Although, I wish we'd never lost Mediacom. As long as we have AT&T, I think my PS4 will continue to be used solely for single player gaming. The modem is hooked up through the phone line, meaning I can't move it, so it's at the complete opposite side of the house. And with the PS4 also being unable to be moved('cause I can only hook it up to the one TV, at the moment), it's kind of a crapshoot. It's still strong enough of a signal that it works fine on my PS3/Vita all the time, as far as I can tell. But with the PS4, it sometimes randomly disconnects. *Shrugs* |
