Even at his peak, dodging the Knight's first attack would have been nearly impossible. If it hadn't been for Bane's strong connection to the Force, the Knight's spear may have successfully pierced through his orbalisk armor. Luckily, not even lightsabers could crack it...
Darth Bane's body flung to the side just fast enough for Diarmuid's spear to rip through his robe and scrape against the orbalisk shell.
"Fast," Bane's mind raced.
Bane was caught off-guard by his opponent's speed and knew he was inches away from another attack. To be safe he would use the rest of his momentum, and the Force, to gain some distance and regain his stance. If Diarmuid decided to swing his other spear while he was still in close-corners, Bane was prepared enough to at least deflect it with his lightsaber, probably cutting the spear in two.

His eyes practically glowed in this light, an almost mischievous twinkle in them as he took note of this."...Interesting." He nodded, standing up to his full height and resting his twin spears against his shoulders rather than attack after Bane leaped back. "You reveal more and more to me. You were not wearing the simple robes I thought. Beneath them, you stood ready with a hardened shell. And even your blade glows blood red. Bane, Dark Lord of the Sith. Clever...but if you are as villainous as I think you are, then it is even more fitting that I am the one to best you. A knight's solemn duty. I will end you."
He relaxed a trace amount. "Still, it is only fair that I outline information to you as well. Better than the constricting rules of the Holy Grail War. My red spear, Gae Dearg, will crack through your shell, make no mistake. And Gae Buidhe will leave unhealable wounds with every strike. Remember these names, for you will fall to them." He smirked, dashing forward in an instant and swinging Dearg wide at Bane's lower limbs to clothesline Bane off his feet, intending to follow through with a quick thrust of Buidhe downwards.

As Lancer and Darth Bane were going at it to the utmost of their abilities, a newcomer entered the fray. Appearing close-by but just enough so that they didn't interfere in the battle itself, the newcomer didn't exactly appear to be all that threatening compared to the others who had come before them. Probably didn't help that they appeared to be a child of ambiguous gender in a striped shirt and shorts. Overlooking the battle, the child didn't feel any need to comment on it. There weren't any words that they felt could describe the intensity that these two men had when they were engaging in battle. That said while the child didn't feel any pressing need or desire to enter the fray, the heat of battle filled them with DETERMINATION! But while they might not have been keen on spreading the blood-shed, there was someone who was more than eager to do so. The child's normally blank expression turned into one of sheer and utter malice. The emotionless frown that had been there before was replaced by a mad grin and their eyes opened up to reveal blood red pupils. "Determination."Reaching around into the back pocket of their shorts, they gripped onto the handle of what seemed like a knife and pulled it out. The blade itself was glowing a darkish red. Perhaps a sign of things to come? Whatever the case, this shift to the child's former demeanor seemed to make them more aware as they slowly turned their head up towards the sky, almost as if they were looking towards some kind of entity that wasn't there."Stop wasting my time already."
Getting straight to the point, they sprinted forward as what appeared to be a heart floated directly in front of their chest as they raised their knife ready to strike down either of the two unfortunate enough to run into them first.

"This battle looks like it might be explosive, folks! Stick around to see the result of the skirmish!" said the announcer as the arena started to shift again. This time, the arena changed to look like an abandoned hospital floor.

"Fool yourself all you wish, Knight. You cannot harm me. And you won't be catching me by surprise again!" Bane readied himself as the environment changed into some sort of medical floor. Scattered around was a bunch of chairs, IVs, clipboards, med rooms, and a single child carrying a knife and running toward them. " What!," Bane glanced at the child for only moment before the Force alerted him to the attacks coming his way. A child and a knight on both sides. Bane had planned to parry Diarmuid's next attack but was again caught off balance by the arrival of another combatant. Bane let the Force flow through him as he leapt into the air as high as the ceiling would let him and dodged Dearg's swing. Now above both enemies, Bane would wind himself up and gather the Force inside his muscles, raising his lightsaber and pushing back down on the ceiling...bolting back toward the ground with the intention of crushing Diarmuid under the weight of his blow and simultaneously cutting him in two. Hopefully the force of the attack would knock back the child if it had gotten close enough.

The where they fought did not concern him as much as the how they fought. An honorable battle as befit a knight such as he. He smirked, looking straight up at the Sith and not minding the kid in the least, the hilt of his spear standing ready to parry any blow that came if he chose to strike. There was no honor in fighting with a child. "No surprises, hmm? That sounds like a challenge to me." His smirk grew into a snicker. "We shall see." He stood stock still throughout Bane's descent, not moving a single muscle. Not until the penultimate moment, and Diarmuid vanished, fading into his incorporeal form. "How about now?" A disembodied voice spoke. "No surprise?"

Hopefully the force of the attack would knock back the child if it had gotten close enough. The force given off by Bane's attack sent Chara skidding back across the floor. But before they were pulled straight off their feet by the impact, they'd slam the blade of their knife into the floor. The blade would have been rattling all around in the hands of someone unsteady. But by no means was Chara unsteady, oh no. This knife was quite familiar to them. It still reeked with the scent of the dust from all the monsters they'd slayed so gleefully. Once the brunt of the attack had passed, they'd rip their knife free and wiped off any debris off the blade. It was still glowing bright red but it'd yet to taste any blood. They'd have to change that real soon.
"Surprise? There's no surprise here. There's two of you and you're both going to die. That's pretty honest don't you think?"
Chara said in the most joyful of tones. Almost in the same manner that a child would address going out and playing a game with a friend. Frisk had only seen this as a nice chance to see powerful people fight and hopefully dodging any attacks thrown their way. But Chara had taken control and how could they be expected to leave without some wanton murder? That simply couldn't be! In any case it was becoming abundantly clear that beyond the seemingly permanent blush-marks on the child's cheeks and the ever so pleasant looking smile that this was no ordinary child by any stretch of the imagination. If one was even willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and consider Chara a child anymore taking into account it's hold on Frisk.
One of them had vanished but he still kept speaking. They wondered if they'd keep speaking with a split carotid artery. But they'd have to find them first and that seemed like it'd be quite the challenge. But those were fun because they always won at the end!~ For now though, the one who had given off that push was clearly visible and in dire need of having their blood spilled. So scraping the knife's blade across the hospital's floor, Chara began to run towards Bane once more, seeking to wait until they got close enough before raising the blade to try and slice at the sith lord.

"You reveal too much about yourself, Knight. You will fall-" So scraping the knife's blade across the hospital's floor, Chara began to run towards Bane once more, seeking to wait until they got close enough before raising the blade to try and slice at the sith lord. Darth Bane was suddenly cut off by the child's attack. He still wasn't sure if he was a combatant or not, but he had little time to speculate. Bane turned to face the oncoming child, "A child has no place here. But I will not discriminate," Bane spoke as he waited for the child to get close enough to swing his lightsaber in a circular motion, effectively cutting the child's knife arm off at the elbow.

"No discrimination, even with children. You disgust me and ruin the honor of a proper duel."

"You... will regret that," Bane mustered as he braced himself against the wall and stood upright. "That is no ordinary child..."

The arena shifted back to its normal, sandy state.
A new contender entered the arena as the battle continued. It had the vague shape of a person, but was but a shell of the human being it once was. It was a towering steel soldier from another Earth built to bring total uniformity and "everlasting peace" to the multiverse. It was a Cyberman.
"Initiating hostile intervention." said the Cyber-Leader emotionlessly as a laser blaster peered out of his forearm. He aimed it at the Sith Lord, Darth Bane.

Darth Bane held his stance, single red lightsaber gripped in both hands, as the hospital floor chanced into a wide, sandy arena.
Bane proceeded to re-analyze the battle as another opponent arrived.
"My back is no longer against a wall, so now I have room to move, which is what I need. Even aided by the Orbalisk and the Dark Side, I cannot match the Knight's speed continuously. I cannot show my hand yet, I must make these other combatants do the work for me..."
Bane reached up and ripped off his now dented helmet, allowing himself full, unhindered vision. This allowed him to notice the droid's blaster aimed straight at him and act quickly. He needn't destroy the droid now, but simply dodge it's attacks.
Darth Bane leapt back several feet into the air.

The Cyber-Leader looked up at the soaring Sith Lord after firing a laser bolt that was easily evaded. "You must all be deleted." said the Cyberman in his electronic voice.

It would be very hard for Darth Bane to maintain his position in the air as there was nothing for him to land on besides the sandy ground. He couldn't get a height advantage here.
Bane decided it would be best to keep his distant and throw a force push toward the Cyber-Leader. Even if it wasn't effective, it would still give him time to stay away from the other combatants.
