Hello. If there is a more appropriate place to put this, feel free to move it. I was wondering if I could lobby for a picture change for my favorite Dragonball Z characters, Android 18. As seen here: electricferret.freeforums.net/thread/282/android-18 her profile picture is fan art depicting her a one piece swimsuit. Though it is nicely done, I wondered if we could change it to a more tradition rendition of her, I beleive this picture was used on the old Electric ferret:  Thank you for your consideration. |

Heh, yep, the current pic was venom's doing. He always liked to use an, um, "busty" image as a female character's pic whenever he could.  Would be nice to see him come back soon ... Anyways, if enough people here agree to switch to the more official image you posted here, cfpt, sure, we can change it. BTW, cfpt, you were an FPL guy, right? And this could be because of how the original EF did things, it's become ingrained in our veins. But we had to find real links and real images, when we were to submit a character on the old EF. Otherwise, it would usually get rejected..

Otherwise, it would usually get rejected.. True, but somehow my Dodoria pic back then slipped by. Not trying to justify or not justify anything, just saying. Truth be told, I understand the sentiment, and am in support of the old system, just having a little fun with my comment there. None the less, this topic among others does bring up a point which I believe is relevant to D's discussion on the database. How do ya'll want to address character profile images? |

Heh. Now I'm tempted to try and see what that pic looks like, but I think the "search for character" function is no longer usable.. Thought I got something like "no fan art images" or something like that one time, but I can't confirm that with the site shutdown.
But yeah, regarding the images, I think if there are legit images out there, they should be used over fake ones. Better depicts who the character is, if nothing else.
Edit: Nevermind, guess it does still work.

Android Saga was the shit. Coolest story, coolest villains, coolest new hero. But that's just my opinion. Still don't understand why 17 went off and disappeared for the rest of the series. He and 18 seemed like pretty close siblings. WTF, Toriyama?

Only to be killed off, unfortunately... That was one I forgot. That saga had a death that was actually meaningful. Every other instance they could just wish the person back, or go visit them in Heaven/Hell. Since 16 was completely robotic, when he was destroyed he was erased from existence.  |

Sorry to say, but I’m not making any plans to rejoin the site. I hardly even come here. But if anyone is interest, there is a Dragon Ball site I been going to. Anyone who is a DBZ fan may like it.
