All of the characters submitted managed to exactly what I wanted. You guys didn't just write the normal mentor/mentee relationship that we normally see. Scoring you guys on innovation alone would be hard so I had to revert to.........other factors . So here are the results in an order that only this bottle of Maker's Mark and I know (Warning: I'm not really good at this so bare with me.).
The Monster:
I loved the voice and atmosphere of this sheet. It was ominous and kind of unpredictable and made you root for both characters in the sheet. Having the relationship be more Frankenstein(father) and monster(child) than teacher and student was very clever and made the ending touching which is the first time a BergySheetâ„¢ ever gave me the feels; having the monster be an artificial "Metastein" was even more so. I can see this character popping up in a lot of character sheets and fics. I would have liked more light shed on who created the father figure (assuming it wasn't Dr.Frankenstein), it would have created more of a "legacy" feel to the story.
U.S Star
She was my favorite personality and theme wise. The fact that she is interconnected with already created lore is a big plus and makes her seem like she belongs in the INC mythos. Having her basically be a wolf in sheeps clothing was a big plus. The relationship displayed here was the dynamic in the sense of how Holly chose U.S Star and how U.S Star reacts to Holly's mentorship. The only fault I could find here was that I found Holly more interesting than U.S Star........I could read some more sheets and fics with Holly.
Remy Lestrade
The most chreative when it comes to the relationship between teacher and student. Seeing the conflict between the two Remys was very entertaining and personally I could read a fic or two with the two of them. The relationship displayed was less teacher/student and more big brother and little brother. The fault that bothered me was that the story was confusing at times.
The Winner:
This was a hard one...... a really hard one. Like I've been sitting in front of my laptop for the last thirty minutes trying to decide hard. But in the end it came down to the character that scored the highest on Nihlium's Seven Sultry Statutes (Patent Pending). And that Character was.................Deo!!!
To be honest guys, this was to close to call and the results might have been different if I had waited until tomorrow or a few minutes......or if I wasn't drinking a glass of wine right now. But alas I leave May in your hands Deo.
