I said I wouldn't go against the GM, but I can see that it's actually the other way around. Confuse Ray was used in anime context, hence why you went with red eyes and instant confusion instead of an actual ray or beam which could've missed, not that that matters. Nothing I did was illegal in any context. The link you posted is showing a strategy, not a rule. I'm sure of it. But if nothing else but to soothe your fixation on having your biased way, I rest my case. As weird as it sounds, I mean that with all due respect Nesh. Go ahead and post, I don't really see a reason to edit anything if it's a physical possibility. Okay, you want to bring up Confuse Ray. Here are some facts on Confuse Ray: It has an accuracy of 100% That means with normal evasion, which your Machamp had, it would hit. That's game mechanics. That's even ignoring that fact that your Machamp had No Guard, so again it would've hit anyway. Once confused the mechanics I used, were the game mechanics. A 1 in 2 shot of hitting yorself. In the anime Machamp would've been stumbling around like a drunk and only hurting itself. My use use of Confuse Ray was completely consistent with the games. Would you like me to rewind the battle and use the anime mechanics? I don't give a flying Snorlax about the Confuse Ray. It was only meant to point out that when it benefits Satoshi, anime mechanics set in. When it doesn't, game mechanics. You are imposing a limit--for whatever reason. By the way, you're telling a fallacy. Even if it were the anime, there still would have been a chance for success, now you're over doin' it though. I was simply trying to understand if you were going to consciously make the decision to stop making sense when it benefits you. Congrats, I guess.

Just go ahead and have Satoshi complain that it's against the invisible rules, unless you wanna kick me out now.

Do I have to pull out anime clips of how confusion works in the show now? What do you know, the same episode as the Ditto You want the honest truth? I could totally destroy Dittochomp. This invisible rules benefits you more than it does me. Whatever, you want to walk, walk.

I don't want to walk, I want freedom! Ultimate freedom!!
*Ahem*
Yes, yes, you are the very best--like no one ever was. I totally get it. Like I said, I could now give two flying Snorlax(es?) about the Confusion, but it's a good diversion on your part. Just post, I hardly even care about getting you to acknowledge anything at this point.

You were the one who brought the whole "You used anime logic for Confuse Ray" thing... You know what, pack up everybody, go home RP is over. I'm obviously not cut out for GMing and you'd be better off

It's just a little spilled milk, I think we should continue. Besides, nobody is going to think I ruined it if you're just going to give up. We can do this, it's fun for everyone.

I can't even manage one battle without pissing someone off. God help me, we haven't even kicked off the story. Shit is falling aopart in the tutorial level. I've nver been good at this.

Trust me, it's all good. I was considering keeping this in the PMs, but it was too late by the time the thought occurred to me. I was aware of the fact that it may have been inevitable that two people agreed to disagree. I said I wouldn't go against you in your RP, which is why I brought it here. I wasn't pissed, I was confused. Now, I'm just willing to continue. All in all, you're doing perfectly fine my man.

Funny because after this I don't feel like I;m doing a good job or even an adequate one.

Well, whatever you do, decide! I'm behind either decision.

Ditto should be dead right now, as a matter of fact. I overlooked ice moves being quadrupled, I thought it was doubled--that's my bad! I'm going to edit.
Edit: From a physics point of view, shockwaves underwater are more damaging, but considering the move would have essentially turned from a ground type to a water type, the damage would be x4 ineffective, since Empoleon is water and steel. But I still need to edit!

Now, I did forget about leftovers, but all things considered... x4 super effective, special defense is Garchomp's weakest point, AND Ditto has half the HP of your average pokemon... the only way he could've survived to see leftovers help him, was if Empoleon had sub standard special attack. As it stands, special attack happens to be his specialty. Damn! Recipe for a funeral.
