UWT X - Crocodile's Journey Discussion Board

The original UWT was actually a glorified version of Mortal Kombat. Except every opponent was a Guest Character. And the main villain was Akuma from Street Fighter. Considering the creator used Akuma as his handle name, little surprise.

The second was a more world crossing affair, seeking out...Things. I forget the details, but halfway across I was given GM status...Which was then when things really took off. I chose Cthulhu as my overall baddie because the idea of some cosmic god seeking to twist the universe to his image in such an alien fashion absorbed me.

I've upgraded since then.

At any rate, UWT as a concept appeals so much, because the idea of our favorite characters in a League of Extraordinary Gentleman or Avengers style is awesome on its own. And its as much the creation of others as it was my little part back then. A lot of trial and error since the original EF board though. GM's ranging from Opalord to ND to G4 and as I understand it, the others show that its still alive and kicking.

I recently ended an iteration spin off that was meant to be a oneshot for Halloween... From October 31, 2013.

Now, I'm debating whether or not to buckle down and see what I can write or not. At any rate, will be using the phone to visit sporadically during my scoutmaster duties.

To add to the sorted mythos of UWT, when Hugo took it off site a handful of us did various things to keep it alive in some way.

There was an attempt at making a Next Generation sort of RP that starred the kids of UWT characters.

There were matches made around UWT canon.

And I've done my part to keep it alive with my Time Traveling, Universe hoping OC who was originally created in UWT3, showing up in various RPs and what not.
