Seriously? They're bringing back Batman just so he can fight Captain America?
Ugh... Remember when Death Battles were actually original and clever? It will probably be at least a fairly good fight, but we've already seen Cap and Bat fight on various other Youtube channels as well as in the comics, so what's the point? I highly doubt we'll ever see another fight like Rainbow Dash vs Starscream or Shang Tsung vs Akuma (these fights were surprisingly good and original match ups) again.
It's quite clear that the reason why they are doing all these unoriginal fights is because of recent films and if the characters are still in everyone's minds. Terminator vs Robocop only came out because of the Robocop reboot, Godzilla vs Gamera only came out because of the Godzilla reboot, and Steve vs Bruce is only coming out because of Avengers 2/Man of Steel 2. Oh, and to please all the bitchy Batman fanboys who hated the fact he lost to Spider-Man.
I also have another thing I want to say about Death Battle: It's disregard for continuity. People think that Wiz and Boomstick are experts just because they can reference one or two obscure or unusual events involving the characters. This is a bit of a nitpick, but it bugs me when they keep fusing two or more versions of a character together to make the fight fairer. Prime examples include the recent Godzilla vs Gamera, and just about every single Sonic the Hedgehog fight.
i don't hate the show. Far from it. But I just wanted to get these little nitpicks off my chest.
