Gabriel Logan
Gabriel Logan was born in Camden, New Jersey, in 1964.
His life leading to joining the United States Army remains a mystery.
At the age of 19 in 1983, he joined the United States Army Reserve Training Corps (ROTC) (later becoming an Army Ranger) and studied at MIT.
During the year of 83' while still a young Lieutenant, he met Gary Stoneman who helped him in saving a group of pinned down GIs in Grenada.
At some point during his time in the Academy, he fought alongside Steven Archer in Guatemala whom he considered a "brown-noser bucking for promotion".
In five years time from joining the army, he was promoted to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, during the year of 1987.
Also during this year he graduated MIT with a B.S. Degree in Biology and Chemistry.
At another point in 1987, he was just outside of Kabul, Afghanistan working U.N. Border Patrol as an Army Ranger.
It's here where he first met Edward Benton, who claimed at the time to be a CIA Operative that was aiding in an arms shipment to the Afghan rebels who were trying to fight against the Soviet Troops.
Logan was tagged to watch the convoy, where all but himself, Benton and their C.O. Ellis died in an ambush from an Afghan splinter group.
Logan and Ellis fought their way through to Kabul, where he managed to save Lian Xing from being an ambush by a Soviet Patrol.
This was the first time he met Lian and she decided to repay him by creating a distraction that would allow him and his convoy to move into the city.
Following this mission, Logan witnessed first hand a conspiracy involving Benton: the contact they were supposed to meet was not an Afghan rebel but rather a Soviet Agent.
Benton shot him dead on the spot and ordered the weapons to be left behind for the rebels while telling Logan to forget everything he saw. (Note: Based on what Gabe says during the testimony, it is presumed that The Agency was supplying weapons to the Soviet Union at the time).
He moved into Special Operations later that year, where he was trained in the necessary covert skills he would later apply in his lifetime.
In 1989 he earned the Silver Star and then in 1991 he received the Presidential Citation, before fighting in the Gulf War.
Logan was finally recruited by The Agency in 1993, where he would be sent on various missions through his 7 year career with them.
One of these missions occurred in 1994, where he was sent to stop the conflict between a group of NSA Agents posing as FBI who were killing the Paradise Ridge Residents without mercy due to a crashed government satellite landing in the area.
Earl Oakton and his neighbors were well-rounded "militia-men" that could use the information stored on that device to aide their personal agenda against the Government, the NSA decided wiping them out through all out war was a better option.
During the mission, Gabe comes across an ATF Agent named Teresa Lipan, who he first rescues then aides in saving the surviving family members of Earl Oakton.
Gabe later explained to Teresa that kind of violence (murdering of people and their families to cover up a conspiracy) is what The Agency sought to prevent and this helped convince her to join. (Note: She later left when the Agency ordered her to kill Lawrence Mujari but she refused and went underground)
At some other point in 1994, Gabe also graduated from the Rockefeller Institute, Magna Cum Laude with a M.A. Degree in Biochemistry.
He would continue various operations for The Agency, believing he was helping fight terrorism and other conspiracies around the globe.
In 1998, he joined the International Terrorism Unit with Lian Xing.
Their most important (and final assignment) for the Agency, was to locate and capture Erich Rhoemer, the leader of the Black Baton.
