Hayes! Yo!! But what is this "Steam" you guys speak of? Forgive me; I'm a virtual "old fogey" when it comes to gaming these days.

Heh. From what I've heard, it's about the most popular venue for digital computer games. They have crazy sales, quite regularly.

PC Elitist. As for me, I'd rather stick with my consoles, for various reasons. One time purchase fee, to play all its games, for the most part. Screen size. Graphics aren't everything; I don't even own an HD TV. :/ But playing on a smaller screen, all the time, would kill my eyes.. And the big one: GAMEZ! Let me know, when you can play Uncharted, The Last of Us, the Tales of series, Infamous, Ni No Kuni, Killzone, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo, Heavy Rain, BEYOND: Two Souls, and Bleach: Soul Resurreccion, on that PC of yours. And those are just some of the reasons I bought a PS3. There are a ton more, I'm sure, either exclusive to consoles, or to the 360, Vita, PSP, DS, PS2, Xbox, PS1, GBA, GB, that I've enjoyed over the years.

Pfft. Emulators! And lemme know when you can play all the current games on those consoles of yours a year from now OH WAIT IT'S THE NEW GENERATION LOL And I'll send ya a Steam request Hayes, though I don't have DayZ. I have the far shittier clone Infestation: Survivor Stories though.

I knew I should have put "legally," in there. And I know I'll need to upgrade, at some point, but I'm not in a hurry. I rarely buy games, for more than the marked down price($20 or less). Xbone and PS4 games, are still quite pricey. And even when I do, I probably won't have to buy a new console, for another 6 or 7 years. How often do you have to upgrade your PC, to play these new games?

I haven't upgraded since I put the machine together seven years ago, so not often. And hey, emulators are actually 100% legal here provided you own the games you're trying to emulate! Therefore suck it.

Really? I heard it had to be done every year or two. :/ How much did you have to spend, to get a computer still worth having, seven years down the line? So you could buy The Last of Us, emulate it on your PC, and they wouldn't say boo? Wow.. That's interesting. Another point I'd like to add, is that a lot of multi-platform games, are still releasing on PS3/360. The fat lady hasn't sung, yet. Not to mention, exclusive titles, like Tales of Zestiria in 2015. PS3's still relevant, for a couple more years, at least. Don't know about the 360.. It had a good run, of almost seven years, though. '06-'13. R.I.P. Also, until the libraries build up, I don't know when I'll even want either one. I'm still on the fence, with neither one having games, that I'm really dying to have. Don't know when, or if, that will change. FF15 and Kingdom Hearts 3 are coming to both, so that won't help me decide.. It was so much easier, when Square Enix was an exclusive company. ^^' It was only the announcements of four of the five Tales games(Zestiria was announced, after I bought it), that finally convinced me to take the plunge on the PS3. Although, I have gotten a lot more enjoyment out of some of the other exclusives, than I thought I would. I don't regret my Black Friday purchase, one bit. ^^
