I haven't looked at the old EF since it closed. Man, I miss that place. Is it gone? Can I still try to log in?

Ah, hey, treach. I think that if you still have access to EF's admin CP, you just might be able to log in that way. I was still logging in to EF that way months after it closed. I lost my access to the admin CP, though, so I can't say for sure it that's still the case. This is why I've been trying to get in touch with you for all these months.

Pfft, I probably can't get in. Serge abandoned us like the ancient god of Ferrets. I'll try tonight.

Does anyone else still read the EF Boards? Sometimes when I've got nothing better to do, I'll read through the FPL General Discussion board and the Character Analyses. Mr Outstanding's meltdown and the subsequent Ivanbomb are still amazing reads.

I thought the site was going to be erased? That remains to be seen. EF has been apparently purchased by another party, though. domainsigma.com/whois/electricferret.com

I can't remember exactly where I posted it before, and due to being at work, it's too much hassle to search for it.
But as of a day or two before EF was closed to new posts, I have everything publically available downloaded, if anybody wants it.

Mr Outstanding's meltdown and the subsequent Ivanbomb are still amazing reads. You know, I just had a theory on why Mr. Outstanding never came back to EF. Yeah, I know the most likely reason is that "the FPL killed him", lol, but there's another possibility that may have discouraged him from coming back later. Anyone remember when Fox started applying COPPA laws to EF (poor Corvette ) and then had all accounts register their full birthdays? Well, I distinctly remember Mr. Outstanding publically putting his birth year as 2010 on his account, which would have shown him as a year old by the time of his meltdown. COPPA laws state that a person has to be at least 13 to be legally registered to most websites, so it's possible that Mr. Outstanding's account was blocked by the site's system. I don't know whether publically stating your birthyear as underaged would block out your account the same as registering it privately did on EF, but there you go.
