I am so happy for Curry. Congrats for him for pulling off a legendary record like that. Lebron's ego and arrogant ass needs to pay attention. Also I liked Shaq and Kobe's former teammates being there for him. One of the greats for sure.

What no one realizes is LeBron is having one of his best seasons ever. He's just playing slightly less minutes so he's getting slightly lower stats across the board, but his averages are on pace to be one of his best. And it's the Playoffs coming up. Now the real LeBron comes out.
Plus, I hate how everyone loves Steph Curry now. Someone thinks that he might be the first unanimous MVP but Russell Westbrook has better numbers across the board except maybe points and Shooting %. Apparently all you need to be MVP is best player on the best team and shoot a bunch of threes.

Very true on what you said regarding Lebron. But Curry and Golden State broke probably the biggest record in NBA. That is a iconic record in basketball they broke. That's something no one else did. Westbrook can have numbers across the board but him and his team are not accomplishing right now what Golden State is doing. Same thing for Lebron. Neither one of the their teams are playing basketball the way Golden State is this season. Curry, Harden, Garnett, and others were always loved before. People were still stuck on thinking Lebron was the new Jordan and putting Lebron ahead of everyone. Once players like Curry, Harden, and others started to fucking kill it in recent years then people finally started to take notice. In addition his ego and arrogance did not help. Its the way Golden State, Rockets, and others work as a team that is making basketball so great right now. Westbrook has been great but you know how the NBA is with that MVP award. They won't just give it based on record.
Now what happened with that Rams Quarterback situation earlier today? Like wow what a hell of a sports day.

Yeah, but LeBron has career averages that blow those players away. LeBron is the only player in the game that can single-handedly take a team to the NBA Finals and he's done it at least twice. LeBron is the best player in the game right now. He might not be the best player this season, which is fine because he doesn't much care about regular season games. He knows he's going the playoffs. I'm not a LeBron fan but I'm not dumb enough to say someone else is better than him. Curry has had a hell of a past two seasons. Let's see him play on a team without Draymond Green spreading the floor or Klay Thompson letting him bump up his assist numbers.
MVP stands for Most Valuable Player. Not Best Player on the Best Team. The NBA messes that up a lot though.

Very good points and I can't argue. Lebron took Cavs to the Finals and was the main reason they go there. That Rockets vs Golden State game tomorrow is going to be awesome. I will probably go out for drinks and see it elsewhere.

James was great, but one guy can't do it alone. Kyrie really helped out, and they wouldn't have won without both of them. LeBron really needs to not be such a ball hog, though.. That was just painful to watch towards the end. What was it, four straight possessions he went one on one against his defender and missed? Ball movement, man! Him and the Cavs are very fortunate Golden State missed every shot after getting to 89.

Kyrie was clutch the past few games, but LeBron put up similar points and better overall stats. His play in Game 5 and 6 was drive and shoot and he scored. Almost every time. 41 points with the vast majority in the paint. So Game 7, GS defended against that. They closed up the lane and LeBron noticed. He would drive and dish instead of going for the shot. That resulted in ending the first quarter with like 4 or 5 assists and 3 turnovers. It wasn't until the very end really that he started driving and shooting. If the dude is a ballhog, tell me how he led the entire series in assists. Because that shit doesn't make sense. With that said, Game 7 was LeBron and Kyrie vs Draymond. Curry and Thompson were no shows.

I watched it. I'm just saying that last few minutes could have been handled better. Seemed like he got it in his head, that he had to make the winning shot. And eventually it was Irving that made the 3, making it 92-89. But that was after those 4 straight empty possessions(which I think was actually 5 or 6, counting the 3-pointer he made and the 3 foul shots a possession before), of LeBron trying to be the hero.

You leave the state, then praise the team of the Bulls' hated enemy? Blasphemy! But yeah, congrats to LeBron and the Cavs for finally bringing one back to the 'Land. He and Irving really lit the Dubs up in those last three games, they had no answer for Tristan Thompson, and Love finally remembered how to rebound in Game 7. The Cavs definitely earned the 'Chip. On the other hand, Curry never really got his shooting touch back after the knee sprain, and everyone else on the Warriors at times either looked exhausted or not up to the challenge by the time the Finals rolled around. Yeah, it's fairly safe to say the '95-'96 Bulls never would've gotten themselves in the predicaments these Warriors found themselves in with the Cavs and Thunder.

So Portugal won the Euros. I've never liked Ronaldo, but hey, I guess his team kinda earned victory.
Also, Andy Murray won the male singles at Wimbledon, which is great.
