Luke Evans is great indeed. I may check it out myself. Also its by a new and fresh Director so he may want to hit a home run here to get more jobs in Hollywood.

Good Lord Marvel actually mananged to make a great Guardians of the Galaxy film. I have yet to see a bad review. This studio has yet to make a horrible film since the first Ironman. Ironman 2 only got mixed reviews and the only bad things people hated was that it was more focused on building to Avengers. My god Warner Brothers you should feel embarrassed. I know I would. Also Warner Brothers you might as well release that teaser for Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice from Comic Con. It was online long enough that everybody probably saw it by now. Batman looked great in his Dark Knight Returns armor. I know this version of Batman is sort of inspired by it though. He is obviously not as old and is not a adaption of that comic. But please don't give me a bullshit Batman vs Superman fight.
Thanos by the way looks great. The details regarding Age of Ultron and the description of the comic con footage are interested. Sounds to me like we definitely get two things here. Time travel and a possible death of an Avenger in this sequel or Avengers 3. Maybe Whedon might surprise us and not kill somebody off. Hopefully...

My bet is that somewhere between Avengers 2/3 and Captain America 3, Cap dies and Bucky steps in for a bit. Incredible Hulk came after Iron Man and while I liked it, it was a decent at best movie. And Warner Brothers has the Dark Knight Trilogy, which puts anything Marvel has to shame, solely based on the fact that they were real movies as opposed to popcorn flicks with superheroes. That being said, I am beyond excited to see Guardians of the Galaxy and I'm forcing my friend to see it with me because she thinks it looks stupid.

Am I the only one who thinks Guardians was made as a dare to Warner Brothers/DC Comics? Seriously:
DC: It's too hard to make a Wonder Woman movie. Marvel: Here's a Raccoon with a machine gun. Have fun.

Oh yea it was Marvel telling Warner Brothers while you sit on your ass and take forever to put out superhero films. We are going to own the genre and keep raising the bar. I love DC to death but Marvel shut everyone the fuck up with the Guardians film. Its one of there best along with Avengers and Winter Soldier. They have only put out two decent films that got mixed reviews. Ironman 2 and 3. Ironman 3 though still destroyed the box office.
That film felt like a Star Wars film. One of the best Sci Fi films in years. Good job Marvel. I love how Thanos is being built like a Darth Sidious sort of character who is the big bad behind the scenes. I wonder if he will also play a role in Ultron becoming aware or interfere in some smart way. I love this huge built Marvel is doing with there Universe and establishing everything.

I saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my little brother and one of my best friends. They... had a dim view of the movie.
I, on the other hand, enjoyed it. I quite liked the combat scenes.

Ninja Turtles was a decent film. Nothing more and nothing less. I can't say I didn't enjoy it somewhat because Splinter was badass in his fight scenes against Shredder's men. That whole fight was fun to watch. The original is still the best and always will be. I'm sorry but Megan Fox struggles to act. Its so annoying and sad to see.

A lot of movie studios shoot themselves in the foot and screw the movie up. Most Directors know how to handle it and tell them there shit stinks. Others don't and just do the film anyway knowing it will be bad because there ego won't let them admit they made a bad mistake.
