Previously: Recruited by David Palmer, LeRoy Greene entered a fighting tournament to uncover a deeper plot. His first opponent as
Bruce Irvin.
It was embarrassingly clear that Bruce Irvin was ridiculously strong. LeRoy was fast enough to avoid his opponent’s blows but in
order to win the fight, he would have to seriously hurt him. This is why LeRoy didn’t like tournaments.
Using of his rare forward punches, as opposed to his elbow swipes, Bruce had his blow redirected and he and pushed off balance.
LeRoy jumped and when he started to come down, he brought his fist down too and clocked Bruce in the temple.
Certain that that wasn’t enough, LeRoy followed through with several body blows and then high front kick.
Perhaps in a life or death battle this would have simply made Bruce mad, but he conceded defeat at this point giving LeRoy the
victory.
Later, LeRoy was visited by a man he didn’t know.
“That was a good showing today.” The man said as he invited himself into LeRoy’s room. “You’ve got the right stuff. The name’s
Kanos. Kir Kanos.
LeRoy shook his hand. “Is there something that I can do for you?”
“You’re a little too good for this tournament.” Kanos stated.
“I am not so sure about that.” LeRoy said meekly.
“Irvin was one of the tougher guys but to tell you the truth, we planted him to challenge guys like you.”
The confounded look on LeRoy’s face drew more explanation from Kanos.
“You need to move up.”
Hoping that his expression didn’t show, a light bulb lit in LeRoy’s mind. This could be the avenue to understanding the deeper plot of
this tournament. But something bothered him. He hadn’t heard from Vanessa since before his fight. Asking about her may have
been too suspicious so he restrained himself. He would have to update her later.
“How would I do that?” LeRoy asked.

Kanos took LeRoy to an isolated part of the city. He mimicked his stealth live travel and discovered why when they came upon a
small group men.
None of them had seen he and Kanos and they were far enough away that the two could whisper.
“These people are getting ready to detonate a bomb. I brought you here to help me stop them.”
LeRoy listened and watched. The men indeed were up to not good.
“I’ll move to the other side and we can take them down in a pinch. You’ll know when to move.”
LeRoy nodded and waited. Kanos moved away quickly but not long after he was gone, a commission stirred the group. They spotted
LeRoy and started spreading out to keep him from escaping.
Strangely, none of them had guns.
With no choice but to fight, the Glow Master made short work of the toughs. But one man had stayed back an continued working.
When the last of his men went down, Vincent seemed to finally notice the intruder. He stopped his work and slowly walked over to
him.
LeRoy, warmed up for a tougher fight, went for the quick victory and attacked first.
Fight Parameters:
One on one fist fight.
Vincent will kill LeRoy if he wins.
LeRoy, of course, will only knock him out.
