I'd like to recommend She-Ra for August Character of the Month. For years the rebooted Masters of the Universe has always gotten ready to introduce She-Ra and then the comic or cartoon gets cancelled and we never get to see an updated She-Ra. Finally, DC takes a run and it and gets her in there pretty much right away and now we can see a modern She-Ra regularly. Sadly no research materials have mentioned her DC incarnation so unless you are reading the comic you're missing her. Going off that idea, maybe we should do a 80s/90s cartoon theme for August. Lion-o and Optimus Prime should be nominated. |

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I got a decent list for February's Character/Couple of the Month. Just for fun I added a few more to the usual number so expect six or seven this time around. Voting should be up by tonight or tomorrow.

I can't remember if this has been done before, but maybe a theme of alien/extra-dimensional saviours that aren't Superman? So options could be Miss Martian, the Doctor, Mar-Vell, the Alien from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, etc.?
